Ianva has a lot of members that joined each other to one new project, for create something unusual and original. They using in their music something like neo-folk items, adding sounds of something from the 20s, accordions, militaristic samples and lyrics, that are full in Italian language. That debut album, whose name is "Disobbedisco!", is something like a really realistic, sad and sincere story from war times. The story is about love between an Italian soldier who joined the Italian war forces, and his lover Elettra. So, the war ends, Elettra waits for Renzi (That is the name of the soldier), but he is not coming, not coming… And wont come. For me it is very sad and hopeless, melodic and a little angry album. The third song on the CD, called "Vittoria Mutilata" is the "leader" of the album, so when I heard it the first time, I though that I would cry! Ianvas music is on a very high quality, not every day you can hear such intelligent and good new band. The CD saw the world on the Italian label "Il Levriero", stylized like a brown digipack, where you can find a 16 page booklet with lyrics and a lot of pictures from the beginning of the 20Th century.
